A compost machine at school!

Our school is the proud owner of a compost machine!

Preparing the ground before the installation

Leaves that have been gathered from the school playground
Cutting the wooden sticks to be positioned  under the compost machine
After making sure the compost machine is stable, the students are putting some soil around the machine to stop aspiring rodents from visiting!

In order to achieve the perfect organic fertilizer, all material has to be added in a specific order and our headmaster is showing us how:
Wooden sticks, dried leaves, egg shells, soil, fruit peels and cores, vegetables...everything in the right order!

SO, let the composting BEGIN!
